December 23, 2011 I'm grateful to be able to report that the original performing members of WildCard! are in agreement and that we have begun work on reforming! Better correct that to re-forming! (we plan on keeping all our bad habits) I've spoken to Steve Heglar (guitarist/lead and harmony vocalist) and gone over his songs that he wants to do (those that he sang lead vocal - we have three strong lead vocalists with different styles and we will try to distribute vocal duties evenly). Will be speaking with Julio Mendoza (drums/lead and harmony vocalist) after Christmas and will go over Julio's tunes of choice. In constant contact with Gene Long (bass/harmony vocals/booking, etc.) so he gets updated often (like today over lunch in Kannapolis). Caught a cold that's making its rounds, but will try to get to work on our web presence today! Once that is up, I will start posting updates there, rather than here (but with a link). NOTE: My brother Marvin, a fine drummer/vocalist, passed July 19, 2002, at the age of 49. His 59th birthday would have been today. Here's a link to a video presentation from his memorial service from over 10 years ago; from our perspective, the ones remaining here on Earth, we all wish you a happy birthday, bro', whereever you are (as long as we live and breathe, so does your memory ;) http://edclark.com/Marvin Clark.htm Ho, ho, ho! (ahchoo!) ;) Ed December 14, 2011

These are some of my first 'solo' recordings (clips) of some of the
songs in my repertoire. ...two of the songs
that I've uploaded to my ReverbNation.com page are from my originals collection, "You & Me & The Sand & The
Sea" (an older "beach music" song that I wrote in the late
1990s) and "Truth Of A Child", a spiritual message song that I
wrote in 2006-7. "Truth" was sung by a fine female
vocalist, http://LauraClapp.com
, as I am only playing piano on that one. |
